With more than two decades of experience across technology, media, manufacturing, and high-growth startups, Travis has led HR and people operations in environments ranging from early-stage companies to large, highly regulated organizations. He has held VP-level and senior HR leadership roles at companies including Turner Broadcasting (TNT, TBS, TCM), MTV Networks / Viacom (Nickelodeon, Comedy Central), Promethean TV, Azubu, Spartan Radar, and Encompass Digital Media, where he partnered closely with executive teams to align people strategy with business objectives.

His work spans executive advising, M&A and due diligence support, workforce restructuring, compliance remediation, and the design of scalable people operations. Known for being direct, practical, and outcome-focused, Travis partners closely with Dr. Jen’s clients in supporting executives with their contract and organizational negotiations with the benefit of an HR counterpoint, leadership teams to solve real operational and organizational challenges—tightening execution, reducing risk, and building people systems that work in the real world, not just on paper. He frequently serves as an embedded senior HR leader for companies that need depth, judgment, and execution without adding permanent headcount.

Earlier in his career, Travis built a strong foundation in leadership development, employee relations, and complex organizational change, a discipline he continues to bring to TMI for Leadership Insight. Based in California, he works in tandem with Dr. Jen’s clients nationwide in 6-session packages or at scope.
