ABOUT / SKILLSET / EDUCATION /

Aliah Whitmore is an integrative somatic therapist, breathwork facilitator, and group process leader with more than two decades of experience working at the intersection of body, story, and human transformation. Over the past 13 years she has supported individuals, couples, families, and groups as they navigate trauma, grief, addiction recovery, identity exploration, and profound life transitions. Her work is grounded in the understanding that lasting change rarely begins in the intellect alone—it begins in the body.

Her practice centers on dynamic somatic breathwork, Neurostructural Bodywork™, mindful inquiry, and emotionally focused movement—modalities that help individuals reconnect with the intelligence of the body and illuminate patterns held in physiology, belief, and behavior. Through breath and movement, clients are able to access emotional and neurological experiences that often exist beneath conscious thought, where many of the stories that shape our lives quietly live.

At the core of Aliah’s work is a simple but powerful principle: transformation begins with safety, understanding, and embodied awareness. When the body experiences safety and is given space to be understood rather than controlled, clarity emerges. From that clarity, people begin to reclaim resilience, agency, and the capacity to move through their lives with greater freedom.
